POSITION:  Senior CAD Designer (Fulltime) 

This is an in-office position with occasional opportunities for remote work. Candidates looking for fully remote work should not apply.

 

LOCATION:  Cary or Wilmington, NC

 

We have a great opportunity for a Senior CAD Designer who desires to build a career while contributing to our communities and the natural environment.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW:  Successful candidate will serve as the in-house expert on CAD design tools, provide consistency with CAD operations and drawing deliverables, coordinate CAD-related training, and mentor staff in CAD skills development. 

 

Projects will include water, wastewater, site development, and general civil engineering projects which may include collection and distribution pipelines, pump stations, hydraulic modeling, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and environmental compliance for both public and private clients.

• Central point of contact for company CAD users.  

• Review HIGHFILL CAD standards and design protocols.

• Software Tools

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 

• 15-25 years of diverse design experience 

• Effective communication skills required 

• AA in a science, engineering, or architectural technology field

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Capable of moderate lifting (generally 25 pounds or less)

• Capable of operating a motor vehicle, must have valid driver license
