I see my work making a tangible difference in communities. Whether that’s cleaner water, stronger infrastructure, or helping a team succeed.
What personal or professional activities/involvement are you most passionate about?
I am deeply passionate about the water industry and mentoring the next generation of engineers. I believe strongly in creating space for more engineers of color and helping to diversify the field. For me, working in water isn’t just a career—it’s a calling. I truly enjoy contributing through both my professional work and volunteer service.
When I'm not working…
you can usually find me at a fitness or yoga class, hiking a new trail, or planning my next trip. I love discovering new foods and restaurants, and I’m always up for an adventure. On the quieter side, I’m a big book lover and can happily get lost in a good story for hours. I enjoy trying new things, whether it’s travel, food, or hobbies, because I like keeping life full of new experiences.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the 313, Detroit, Michigan! I went on to study Environmental Engineering, where the golden sunshine falls, at Thee Illustrious Benedict College (and yes, you have to say it just like that!). Go Tigers!
What is something about you that might surprise most people?
Something that might surprise people is that I eat my pizza crust first. Got to get the worst part of the pizza out first!

I’m known around the office for my love of bold colors and hair, and my daily bright green matcha latte. Between my outfits and my drink of choice, I definitely bring a pop of color to the workday.
What is your Spirit Animal?
My spirit animal is a poodle. They’re playful, social, stylish, and full of energy, always bringing a little joy and personality to the room. I like to think that’s the vibe I bring too!
