POSITION:  Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer (Two Positions)

LOCATION:  Wilmington, North Carolina, and Columbia, South Carolina

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Successful candidate will assist with water, wastewater, and general civil engineering projects, which may include collection and distribution pipelines, pump stations, industrial facilities environmental compliance, hydraulic modeling, water treatment, and wastewater treatment. A significant portion of our consulting services are related to water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance, storage, and pumping. As such, the candidate should expect a substantial focus on hydraulic design activities. Typical activities include client interactions, preliminary engineering, development of construction documents, permit coordination, construction observation and administration, and other aspects of civil engineering services.

QUALIFICATIONS:  BS in Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineering; 5-10 years of experience; PE license required in the state of hire; good communication skills required. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and/or hydraulic modeling software preferred.


  • Capable of moderate lifting (generally 25 pounds or less)

  • Capable of operating a motor vehicle, must have valid driver license
