Susan Sperbeck is an Administrative/Project Assistant for HIGHFILL’s Cary office. Along with handling the daily general office tasks that keep operations running smoothly, Susan also provides administrative support to our engineers through all phases of our projects. Additionally, Susan’s advanced understanding of IT and PC networks make her the go-to person whenever computer issues arise or a new technology needs to be explored.
Susan received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She has also earned her Microsoft Technology Associate certification, as well as an A.A.S. degree in Environmental Science and a Certification in Applied Biotechnology from Wake Technical Community College.
In addition to her work at HIGHFILL, Susan also works and volunteers at the Kramden Institute as an assistant instructor, where she teaches kids to take apart and rebuild computers, and to install and work on Unix-based operating systems. She assists the Kramden Institute with refurbishing/rebuilding computers, which are then donated to individuals and school districts throughout North Carolina. Susan is also a volunteer with the Corral Riding Academy, which is a non-profit that helps at-risk teenage girls gain self-esteem through horse riding.
