Laura Styles, PE

Project Manager

 

Laura Styles, PE, is a Project Manager located in HIGHFILL’s Cary office. Laura has 10 years of experience providing project management, design, and construction phase services for public water and wastewater projects, including plant and pump station design and tank renovations. She also has extensive experience in hydraulic modeling of distribution systems, preparing NC DWI applications, and developing USDA formatted PER reports and environmental reports.

Laura has a strong ability to think about projects in the big picture, while remaining detail-oriented and adhering to project delivery schedules. She holds an M.S. in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina and South Carolina, and is an active member of the North Carolina American Water Works Association and the North Carolina Environment Association (NC AWWA-WEA).

Outside of the office Laura is an avid traveler, seeking to explore new countries and cultures every chance she gets. She also enjoys long hikes and practicing yoga.
