Engineering Support Specialist

Evan Houser, EI, is an Engineering Intern located in HIGHFILL's Wilmington office. Evan graduated from NC State’s Environmental Engineering program in 2017. Prior to joining HIGHFILL, Evan served as an intern with the Environmental Research and Education Foundation, focusing on solid waste management research. He has a rich background in software, including AutoCAD, GIS, SolidWorks, and other programs. Evan is eager to begin his career as a water resources engineer, focusing on water and wastewater projects.


Evan supports our project managers by creating drawings, assisting with permits, developing construction documents, coordinating between clients and contractors, providing construction observation and administration services, and assisting with many other aspects throughout all project phases. His superior communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to hard work complement his growing technical skills and make him a valuable addition to any project team.


Outside of work, Evan enjoys disc golfing, hiking trails, and being outdoors. He also enjoys traveling when he can and would like to see the Wonders of the World.
