Professional/Personal Mantra or Motto
Life is meant to be lived to the fullest - be happy and always grateful.
In my profession, I am most fulfilled when…
I learn new processes and can work effectively within the team. Striving to reach a goal and achieve it is very rewarding.
What personal or professional activities/involvement are you most passionate about?
My passion in a professional and personal capacity has been real estate. Whether it has been my personal purchase of homes and condos or construction and renovation projects for the State.
On a personal note, I have been married for a long time and have two daughters who are married and have successful careers.
When I'm not working, I enjoy…
spending time with family and friends, bike riding, cooking, camping, reading, shopping, crocheting, and traveling.
Where did you receive your education?
I completed my B.S. Degree in Business Administration in 2007 from NC Wesleyan University in their Adult-Accelerated Program. I worked for the State of NC for twenty years, so once I obtained the Degree, promotions and growth opportunities occurred as a result.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I find it disrespectful when someone talks over me and does not allow me to complete saying my thought.
I'm known around the office for…
having a sense of humor. Laughter always makes you feel better.
What is your Spirit Animal?
My spirit animal is the seagull because they enjoy freedom and follow their instincts. I have a free-spirited nature, love the beach, and always enjoy new adventures.
