Administrative/Project Assistant (Winston-Salem Office)
Professional/Personal Mantra or Motto
"I'll google it."
In my profession, I am most fulfilled when…
I’m most fulfilled when I can solve a problem for someone or help them to accomplish what they need to do. I also really enjoy seeing the tangible results of my efforts.
Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire my parents because they work hard and help other people without self-promoting or expecting anything in return. In fact, it wasn’t until I was older that I even realized half of the things they did and I’m sure there is much more I don’t know about.
When I'm not working I enjoy...
attempting DIY projects, which encompass home improvement, décor, photography, artwork, etc. I also enjoy watching the antics of my two adorable kids or spending time out of the house with my husband where we can talk about the kids.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the small town of Shippensburg, PA, surrounded by rolling countryside, where every destination you may need to reach in town is a 5-minute drive or less (if you don’t get stuck behind a horse and buggy).
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Littering is the worst, but people not using their turn signals is a close second.
I'm known around the office for…
always having a coffee cup within reach (but that could be said about everyone in the Winston Salem office!).
What is your Spirit Animal?
After much introspection and a few internet quizzes on the subject, I’ve decided my spirit animal is probably a dog. I’m usually eager to please and rarely meet someone I don’t like. I’m pretty forgiving and would rather get back to being friends than hold a grudge. I enjoy being helpful, but I’m pretty happy relaxing and socializing too. I also enjoy going for walks and watching squirrels.
