We have a great opportunity for a service-focused engineer who desires to build an engineering career while contributing to our communities and the natural environment.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW: Successful candidate will assist with water, wastewater, and general civil engineering projects which may include collection and distribution pipelines, pump stations, hydraulic modeling, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and environmental compliance.

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES: Junior-level staff are integrated into teams of project engineers. Since a significant portion of our consulting services are related to water conveyance, storage, and pumping, the candidate should expect a substantial focus on hydraulic design activities.

 

Tasks often include client interactions, preliminary engineering, development of construction documents, permit coordination, construction observation and administration, and other aspects of civil engineering services. Regular use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, as well as Excel and Word, is common.

CAREER GROWTH: Our engineering staff are exposed to a wide range of civil engineering project activities which provide motivated staff a space to grow professionally in their careers alongside experienced staff in a team-focused organization.


QUALIFICATIONS:  BS in Civil Engineering with 0-3 years of experience; EIT certification or in-progress of obtaining certificate; good technical writing and verbal communication skills; proficiency with or a desire to learn AutoCAD.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Capable of moderate lifting (generally 25 pounds or less)

  • Capable of operating a motor vehicle, must have valid driver license
